I always found the Nemesis to be much better with surface because of how clean it was, but the Flash has such a ridiculous footprint in oil that I can throw it on higher volume shots without issue. The shape is one that's been missing for me that the Nemesis just couldn't quite fulfil. It's been a minute since I instantly clicked with a ball as much as I did the Flash. This ball should be in the Motiv line-up for a long time. This ball is very receptive on the end of the pattern and goes through the pins with a lot roll which is why the carry rate is so good. This ball is so versatile on a lot of oil patterns and gives you the best carry rate I seen. I have pulled this ball inside my mark by 2 boards and usually this turns into a 10 pin or the ball goes through the head pin, but this ball still carries. I have thrown this ball to the 1 board and it still comes back to strike. This ball gives me so much room for error on house shots.
#Motiv golden jackal series#
The last 2 weeks, I have had 7 games of 278 or better in 4 different bowling centers on 4 different house shots along with the lowest series being 708. As much as I love my Forge Fire and Nemesis, this ball is quickly becoming my go to favorite.

This ball is an asymmetric ball with 5000 LSP. This ball has the Infusion HV Pearl Reactive coverstock wrapped around the Predator V2 core. I wanted this ball to be my number #1 ball in the bag for most long oil patterns. I drilled my Jackal Flash 65 x 4 1/2 x 25. Those two words are on everyone’s tongue these days in my area as they now know that they are synonymous with an exceptional piece. The confidence in throwing a pearl on the fresh that is this strong yet versatile enough to go the distance is a feeling that is nothing short of amazing. Since that night, this ball has repeated its performance time and again. Even with this in mind, the more I moved left and opened up the lane, the harder the Flash wanted to read the mid-lane and finish strong on the backend there was no quit! I was able to throw all three games of league that night with this ball which is something I have not been able to do with just one in quite some time (I finished laying down 38 and crossing 26). Transitions came quickly for this ball, meaning I had to make bigger moves than normal when I started going high flush. The ball was clean through the fronts with a ridiculous backend finish I could miss a solid two boards right at the arrows and still have it scream back into the pocket. Out of the box, on the fresh, I was already a solid 3-2 left of my Forge Fire. While it may sound slightly unbelievable to say that a ball has both mid-lane traction and down-lane snap together, this Jackal defies that logic. The Flash is leaps and bounds quicker at the spot while still not sacrificing any of the strong mid-lane read that the Predator V2 core is known for. Comparing those two balls is like comparing apples to oranges. I laid this Jackal out the same as I did the Golden Jackal as I liked the overall shape that release produced and was wanting something similar yet quicker.

054Diff) and the lightening-fast Infusion HV Pearl coverstock (5000 LSP) has produced an amazing piece that provides both length up front with down-lane snap and strong mid-lane read with continuation through the pin deck. Taking the highest volume, quickest responding spot on the chart, the marriage of the proven Predator V2 core (2.47RG. Wait! MOTIV’s first ever tri-colored ball has arrived and its name is Jackal Flash.

Bowlers that are more speed dominant who usually struggle when throwing a pearl ball will find the Jackal Flash to be extra versatile on moderate conditions.Īll colors do vary somewhat from the picture shown This ball was designed to be an early transition ball for heavier oil but it also pairs well with rev dominant bowlers as the first ball out of their bag. This combination offers continuation with max revs and track flare while providing length and a strong angle that is needed when making adjustments on heavy oil patterns. This is achieved by combining the Predator V2 weight block with the Infusion HV Pearl Reactive coverstock and finished with a 5000 LSP. The Jackal Flash was built to be cleaner through the front of the lane with a quicker response on the backend. This high-performance bowling ball is the strongest asymmetric pearl ball that Motiv has created to date. The legend of the Jackal continues with the Motiv Jackal Flash Pearl.
